SkipIt is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe in complete transparency about how our extension operates.

Data Collection

• SkipIt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data
• No user behavior or viewing habits are tracked
• No analytics or tracking systems are implemented

Storage Usage

The only data stored are your service preferences (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video), which are:

• Stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage sync API
• Only used to remember your streaming service toggle preferences
• Never transmitted to external servers

Permissions

SkipIt requires minimal permissions to function:

• "activeTab" - To detect and click skip buttons on streaming services
• "storage" - To save your streaming service preferences locally
